In September 2025, Governor Ned Lamont announced a $50.5 million investment aimed at accelerating growth in New Haven’s life sciences and quantum technologies sectors. This funding supports the creation of the New Haven Innovation Center, a 4,500-square-foot space within 101 College Street, and provides $10 million to QuantumCT, a nonprofit coordinating quantum computing infrastructure statewide.
